Low triiodothyronine (fT3) syndrome has been reported with a high prevalence in chronic kidney disease (CKD) andhave been considered an independent predictor of mortality in both haemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD)patients. Several factors, such as malnutrition, inflammation, acute disease, are reported to cause this syndrome inESRD patients
